Description Stainless steel barrel nut for installing a Savage style barrel on a Remington 700 action. Known in the industry as a “Remage” nut or Rem/Age nut. The skirt portion of the nut (that slides over the barrel shank) has an ID of 1.092″ . Your barrel shank OD must be smaller than 1.092″ to use this nut. This nut can also be used to install a custom barrel on a Weatherby Mark V action. Requires Savage barrel nut wrench for installation and removal.
