Poplar Base for Cardboard Tube and Foam Frangible tip

This lance is a poplar base (can be variegated green and beige, poplar wood does that) that takes a 72″ long,  2″ wide, cardboard tube. The balance point is very much like a balsa-wood-tip lance, which makes it an excellent training tool. Poplar and cardboard are easily primed and painted into your favorite color scheme, and the wood does not have “reeds” in it (see the cutouts on the poplar 2-part lance bases) which makes coloring it much easier.
